Exness does not publish one global figure, so the exact amount for you is shown in your Personal Area (PA) before you pay.

Quick answers to the questions people search
| Question | Answer from Exness’s own pages |
|---|---|
| Minimum deposit for Pro, Raw Spread, Zero? | From about $200, varies by registered region |
| Minimum deposit for Standard or Standard Cent? | Low, set by region and payment method; no single global figure is published |
| Is it the same in every country? | No. Both account and payment-method minimums vary by region |
| Can I change region for a lower minimum? | No. The region is fixed once the account is created |
| Is there an Exness deposit fee? | Exness says it charges none; your bank or wallet might |
| Does a $1 or $5 minimum exist? | We could not confirm one on Exness’s pages, so do not rely on it |
Why the minimum is different for different people
Two separate limits decide how little you can deposit:
- The account minimum for your region. Exness sets it per registered region, for both Standard and professional accounts.
- The payment method’s minimum transaction. Every method (card, bank transfer, e-wallet, local payment system) has its own minimum and maximum. Exness calculates it after any currency conversion into your account currency.
Your real minimum is the higher of the two. For example, if your region allows a small Standard deposit but your bank transfer method has a higher minimum, the bank transfer minimum applies. A different method, such as an e-wallet, may let you start lower.

Tip: deposit in the same currency as your trading account. Exness notes that transacting in your account currency stops conversions from complicating the minimum.
How to check your exact minimum
- Log in to your Exness Personal Area.
- Open Deposit.
- Each payment method shows its processing time, fee (if your provider charges one) and limits (minimum to maximum transaction).
- When you open a Pro, Raw Spread or Zero account, the PA also shows the professional-account minimum for your region.
Exness says the information in the PA is current and should be treated as the reference. Blog posts and reviews, including this one, can go out of date.
What $10, $50 or $200 gets you
| Budget | Realistic choice | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Under $50 | Standard Cent | Balances show in US cents, so $10 appears as 1,000 USC. Trades are 100 times smaller than on Standard, so a mistake costs cents |
| $50–$200 | Standard | Full instrument range, no commission; start with 0.01 lot |
| $200+ | Standard, or Pro / Raw Spread / Zero | Professional accounts become available. Compare total cost (spread + commission) for your trading style |

A low minimum doesn’t make trading cheap or safe. With a small balance, position size matters far more than the deposit. Use our lot size calculator to keep each trade’s risk to a small percentage of the account.
Deposit rules to know before you pay
These rules come from Exness’s general deposit rules and payment information:
- Verification first. Your Exness account must be verified before deposits and withdrawals are available.
- No third-party payments. The card, bank or wallet must be in your own full legal name, matching your Exness account.
- The same currency out as in. The currency you choose for a deposit must also be used for withdrawal. It doesn’t have to match the trading account currency; exchange rates apply at the time of the transaction.
- Your region is fixed. Regional payment methods only work in the region you registered from, and it can’t be changed later.
- Deposit from the PA only. Exness asks clients to start every payment in the Personal Area and avoid direct payments made outside it.
- Deposits run 24/7, but processing times differ by method.
- Some methods have daily, weekly or monthly caps. The PA tells you if you hit one.
Exness minimum withdrawal
There is no single minimum withdrawal either. The rules mirror the deposit side:
- The payment method sets the limit. Each method has its own minimum and maximum withdrawal amount, shown in the PA when you choose it.
- Free margin caps the amount. You can withdraw up to your account’s free margin, so close or reduce open positions first if it is too low.
- Same currency out as in. You withdraw in the currency you deposited, ideally through a method you deposited with. A method with a low deposit minimum but a higher withdrawal minimum can leave a small balance hard to take out, so check both limits before your first deposit.
- No Exness withdrawal fee. Your bank or wallet may still charge its own.
Step-by-step instructions and processing times are in our Exness withdrawal guide.
Fees on deposits
Exness says it doesn’t charge deposit processing fees. Your bank, card issuer or e-wallet may charge its own fee, and a currency conversion can cost you through the exchange rate. The PA lists any provider fee next to each method.
Is a low minimum deposit a good sign?
A low minimum is convenient for beginners, but it tells you nothing about how well your money is protected. For most retail clients worldwide, Exness onboards through offshore entities with no government-backed compensation scheme. Check which entity serves your country in our Exness safety section and in our guide to whether Exness is legit.

Bottom line
You can usually start on an Exness Standard or Standard Cent account with a small amount, often around the minimum your payment method allows. The professional accounts start from about $200. Because both limits depend on your region and payment method, check the Deposit section of your Personal Area for the exact figure before you fund the account, and start with the Cent account if you’re new.
